Chief Financial Officer << Back to SVP Team Role Warren is responsible for Debt and Equity Capital Management. Career Highlights Warren joined Simmons Vedder Partners in 2000. He spent the previous eight years with the Lincoln National Life Insurance Company in Fort Wayne, Indiana. As VP/Manager of Real Estate Acquisitions, Warren purchased or committed to $1.2 billion in commercial and residential property acquisitions. His property acquisition experience included major cities in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, North Carolina, Ohio, Utah, Tennessee, Texas, Washington state, and Washington D.C. Warren successfully developed various equity takeout structures on Lincoln's behalf for approximately $700 million in development projects. These structures enabled banks to make full-cost construction loans to developers, with little or none of their own money in the deals. From 1986 to 1992, Warren was a VP/Relationship Manager in the Real Estate Finance Business group for the Chase Manhattan Bank, N.A., officed in New York, Houston, and Dallas. Account responsibilities entailed many Texas, Colorado, and Georgia-based developers including: Trammell Crow Company, Hines Interests Limited Partnership, MDC Holdings, and the Childress-Klein Company.
