Vice President - Finance << Back to SVP Team Role Phyllis is responsible for Debt and Equity Capital Management. Career Highlights Phyllis joined Simmons Vedder Partners in 2005. Prior to joining Simmons Vedder Partners, Phyllis served as Senior Vice President and Manager of the Austin Real Estate Lending Division of Texas-based Guaranty Bank. During her 18 years with the company Phyllis managed developer relationships, based primarily in Austin and San Antonio, Texas, as well as Atlanta, Georgia, and the Northern Virginia/Washington, D.C. area. Phyllis' account responsibilities also included several national real estate investment trusts. Since 1991, she originated over $1.1 billion in construction loans for office, industrial, retail and multifamily projects across the country, including numerous student housing projects. Phyllis also served as a member of a Guaranty Bank loan committee and several special purpose committees within the Bank. Phyllis began her banking career in 1984 with Interfirst Bank in Austin.
