Controller << Back to SVP Team Role Paul is responsible for the management of all SVP accounts, project draws, and general accounting and finance. Career Highlights Paul joined Simmons Vedder Partners in March of 2003. During the two years prior to joining Simmons Vedder Partners, Paul worked for Interactive Silicon, Inc. (ISI), a venture-funded intellectual property company focused on innovative silicon solutions for compression and graphics applications. As controller for ISI, Paul was instrumental in establishing an accounting and budgeting system, instituting cash flow models and assisting ongoing fundraising activities. From 1998 to 2001, Paul was the controller for Health Answers, Inc. an international healthcare marketing firm that grew through acquisitions. At Health Answers, Inc., Paul upgraded financial reporting systems and controls to cope with the firm's rapid growth, reduced the monthly close from 90 days to 20 days, managed cash and assisted the CFO with acquisitions. From 1994 to 1998, Paul worked as an audit manager for Ernst & Young, LLP and Coopers & Lybrand, LLP.
