Multifamily Development << Back to SVP Team Role John is responsible for the development and acquisition of multifamily projects. Career Highlights John joined Simmons Vedder Partners in 2000. Prior to joining Simmons Vedder Partners, John was a Development Associate for JPI in their Student Housing Development group. During his four years at JPI, John was responsible for the development of six apartment complexes totaling 1,663 units (5,076 bedrooms) in Florida, Arizona, Louisiana and Tennessee. John's responsibilities at JPI included researching markets, selecting sites, negotiating with sellers, obtaining entitlements, underwriting the developments and coordinating development with JPI Construction. John worked with JTS Interests in Baton Rouge, Louisiana from 1992 to 1996 where he was responsible for real estate acquisitions and development.
