Multifamily Development << Back to SVP Team Role John is responsible for the development and acquisition of multifamily projects. Career Highlights John joined Simmons Vedder Partners in March of 2006. Prior to joining Simmons Vedder Partners, John was a Development Manager for The Bozzuto Group in Washington, D.C. in their multifamily and land development groups. During his first two and a half years at Bozzuto, John oversaw the design and construction of several apartment and mixed-use projects, including the Hawthorne at Gillette Ridge, an award winning 246-unit garden-style apartment project in Bloomfield, Connecticut, and The Delancy at Shirlington Village, a 241-unit with 44,000sf of retail mixed-use project in Arlington County, Virginia. During his last year at Bozzuto, John managed the operations of the newly formed land development affiliate of The Bozzuto Group. John's responsibilities at Bozzuto included site acquisition, entitlements, design, construction management and lease-up. From 2001 to 2003, John worked at Republic Property Group, a land development firm developing master planned residential communities in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
